Getting to Aspen

Aspen Airport (ASE)

~10 minutes from town

Direct flights are available from select major cities, though connections through Denver are common. The convenience of arriving directly in Aspen often offsets the higher ticket cost.

Once here, you likely won't need a rental car - many hotels offer airport shuttle service, and downtown Aspen is entirely walkable.

Denver Airport (DEN)

~3.5 hours from Aspen

A major hub with direct flights from anywhere in the country. The drive to Aspen is a scenic 3.5-4 hour journey through the Rocky Mountains. You can take the stunning route over Independence Pass (a beautiful, mountainous drive) or alternatively travel via I-70 through Glenwood Springs.

~2 hours east of Aspen via I-70
